Instead of a smooth ride through the tunnels at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Monday night, Ohio State coach Ryan Day found himself in a precarious situation. Day and several others were on a golf cart that crashed while trying to make a turn that it just absolutely could not make — which made for a pretty hilarious scene after their national championship victory.

Nobody was injured in the incident, and the Ohio State trio walked away in laughter. After the golf cart didn’t start back up, they pivoted and successfully made their trip to the other side of Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Ohio State defeated Notre Dame for its fourth win in the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff.

Howard and head coach Ryan Day were on a golf cart when the driver misjudged the turn and drove it straight into a wall. Both Day and Howard were okay but quickly exited the golf cart. The embarrassed driver apologized profusely but that was the end of her assignment as coach and QB chose to walk.
