One person is dead following a Florence apartment fire Wednesday. The fire happened around 1:30 p.m. on Langshire Court, according to the Florence Fire/EMS Department. Crews arrived to find “heavy fire conditions,” the department said.

Crews responded to a fire at an apartment building in Florence on Wednesday. According to Boone County dispatchers, the fire broke out on Langshire Court, in an apartment complex near Dixie Highway.
