Hurry Up Tomorrow, the celluloid vanity project from singer The Weeknd, has tanked at the box office following diabolical reviews. The psychological thriller with a $15 million budget took just $3.3 million over the May 16-18 weekend.
As has been the trend, Othello, starring Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal, was the second highest grossing show of the week, with $3.2 million and playing to 100 percent capacity. The play commanded the highest average ticket price on Broadway with $384.23, compared to $315.52 at Good Night, and Good Luck, the next highest on the boards.

Making the largest gains (other than Redwood) were Good Night, And Good Luck, up $143,803 to $3,955,968, and Sunset Blvd., up $146,711 to $1,262,121. The former scored five Tony nominations, including one for star George Clooney, while the latter got seven, including Best Revival/Musical and the top acting categories.
