PROVO, Utah - Devyn Netz threw a perfect game as Arizona beat BYU 8-0 Thursday night in the opening game of the series. It was Netz’s first perfect game and the 11th in program history. Netz also homered in the game as Arizona scored eight runs on six hits. Miranda Stoddard also went deep for the Wildcats, while Anysaa Wild had a three-RBI double.
The Alabama Crimson Tide made a record 25 3-pointers in the 113-88 victory over BYU in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
