Ty Haywood, the highly-coveted offensive tackle from Denton, Texas (Ryan High School) who was previously committed to Alabama before he re-opened his recruitment last month, officially pledged to join the Wolverines on Wednesday, the first day of the final national signing window which runs through April 1.

The offensive tackle was one of the few remaining top area recruits who signed on National Signing Day after decommitting from Alabama in January.

Though Alabama finished the 2025 recruiting cycle with a top five class yet again, the Tide did miss out on a major prospect that could have potentially put it even closer to the top ranked spot. 5-Star Ty Haywood,
