Hello. Pashmina items are not the local product of Darjeeling. Even if you get it, it will be charged extra and there is a possibilities that it might not be genuine unless you go to the authentic shops. Jammu/Kashmir/State emporiums would be an ideal and go to place to get the best product at the right price. Tea is the best bet in Darjeeling and i would recommend Nathmulls, Chai Chun and few more out there. Rest woolen and other products sold out there are sourced from other states. If you are visiting Kalimpong/Gangtok then buying souvenir or small gift items for friends n family is recommended from there instead of Darjeeling. Hope this helps Thanks Bharat
