Can anyone recommend a place near the border (ideally not a currency exchange window) where they give change in Zim$ ? Maybe a restaurant or something close to the bridge that won't find it weird if I ask for my change back in all the coins? :)

They use the U.S. dollar there. I bought a 1 billion note as a souvenir from a vendor in February. They sell notes as high as 50 billion.
