The paths along the bottom of the park running parallel to the canal take you up towards Alvecote Priory and the Marina, these are not tarmacced, but they are a loose stone surface but flat paths. If you have someone with you, then I would think you would be ok on this route. You can then come back down the canal towpath and make a nice circular route. The tea room has maps for sale of the site if you need one. (Tea room open school holidays and weekends). Hope that helps.
