I copied this from online: "Stop at the headquarters of the San Antonio Conservation Society, 107 King William St. (tel. 210/224-6163, and pick up a self-guided walking tour booklet outside the gate." I, however, stumbled upon this lovely area while eating a wonderful breakfast at The Guenther House. HIGHLY recommend, but, go early! It's a LONG wait, if not. While in the gift shop, I was given a map of the King William Historic District. ; ) Enjoy!

There is a great walking map online if you google King Williams District San Antonio. It gives descriptions of all the historic homes including when built, by who, and for who. When you get there coming in from San Antonio on the historic marker on a gate/fence there were copies of the walking map with the same info.
