The park is famous for its breathtaking scenery and relatively easy hiking trails, especially considering the limited elevation gain. During our visit in mid-June, we experienced heavy snowfall, whic… Full review by smallbug_11

Hello Steve, my guess it is a long drive there to the West entrance. You would be rushing through the park, not getting to really see it. I'm from Aussie land so driving long distance is not much for me. Probably your biggest wait would be the car hire place they tend to be slow. Missoula is not much chop one or two good cafes. Good luck.

Q:
Hi, what time does the Logan Pass parking lot fill up by during summer of 2021? I don’t want to be late!
A:
Sadly for us, Logan Pass was closed due to snow however yes, by all I have been told by others who visited you need to be there before 8 am to get a parking spot.

My husband and I have an 8 month old so we are trying to figure out how GNP is as far as babies are concerned. We are thinking about traveling this month. Are there baby friendly hikes? We were either looking to going to GNP or Yellowstone National Park. Is there a big difference between the two as far as a baby is concerned?
A:
There are some wheelchair friendly short trails at GNP, so you can easily travel with the stroller. Same at Yellowstone. Happy travels!

In July, 2019 our family of four will be traveling by car from a family reunion in Helena, MT to Glacier National Park where we will stay for three nights. We will then need to drive back home to Southern Minnesota. We are hoping to see as much as possible at Glacier National Park in three days to include a river rafting experience. Any suggestions for which towns or area to stay and what routes to take through the park to see some awesome attractions?

We stayed right in West Glacier, about two miles from the entrance to the park. The Vista Motel and Highland Glacier Hotel are modest, but clean. In addition to the Going to the Sun Road (which takes you to Logan's Pass, a lodge, and access to several gorgeous trails), we booked a Red Bus Tour. There are several tours of varying lengths and destinations offered and we LOVED our guide and the experience. We were able to see parts of the park and some of the historic inns that we would never have had time to see otherwise. How exciting that you have this trip ahead of you!
