I am not aware of such transportation. It is a neighborhood feel. No hotels. Just condos and peoples homes.

Are there a high number of jellyfish incidents at Folly Field Beach? We were just there and people beside us had two people stung within several days plus a child bit by a crab. I noticed a week ago a family had two children stung by jellyfish. Also I was surprised by the lack of waves, lack of wind and how calm the water was . seemed very odd. Is it always like this? There were also tons of sand dollars buried in the the edge of the water that we could feel with our feet and dig up easily.

Jelly fish are kind of rare. It really depends on the tides. I grew up on the Jersey shore and we always had a lot of Jellies in the summer, so they do not bother me that much. As for the calmness of the surf. Yes, this beach does not get heavy waves very often. I think it has a lot to do with its location on the heel of the island. I hope this helps.
