We went during the week and it's only opened on the weekends, so if you want to go, plan a visit on the weekend. Full review by 179lind
Reviewers have mentioned that the facility is difficult to locate. Besides the museum's address, is there any type of landmark-restaurant, motel, gas station-that would be close to the museum that indicate the museum is close by?

Sorry for the delay in replying. The hangers (and the exhibits) are off to the side surrounded by a fence. Go to the entrance of the Visitor Center 550 Main Street this is where the safety video is. If this answer gets to you before you visit it is really best to call ahead on the day of your visit. They are volunteers so the hours may vary a bit, but if they know someone is coming they stick around.
