This ship board museum is really set up well for visitors. Three lower decks are open as well as the upper levels. Signs clearly explain what you are seeing and there is always a “this way out” sig…Full review by allezgently

Visited her in late April. Spent my limited time on the upper deck levels looking about. Climbing into the gun turret was very cool. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable!Full review by C5874MUtomm

We will have any elderly lady in our party. Is there anywhere on the battleship she could sit down if she needs to?
A:
Yes and the tour guides former seamen are courteous and helpful

Hi can one still do the tour but skip the climbing ladders and small areas? Not a good climber after hip replacement
A:
There are lots to see when going below. I have a bad knee and almost didn’t wobble down, but glad I did. However, there are plenty of things to see on the main level. Enjoy!

Is it handicap accessible and can one use electric scooter?
A:
You can for the museum part (Nauticus), but I believe it would be hard to negotiate the ship in a scooter.
